About the Course

Goal

Take learners from their first phonetic building block to sharing their own story fluently in ह िंदी — one of the world's oldest living languages — through an active, conversational lab rather than dry textbook memorisation.

Cracking the Code:

Vowels and consonants are drilled through listen-and-repeat practice to build real mouth-muscle memory, before individual letters are blended into words and simple reading practice. Numbers 1–100, family terms, and essential polite greetings such as नमस्ते and धन्यवाद round out the survival vocabulary that opens the course.

Sentence Structures & Gender Rules:

Hindi's Subject + Object + Verb rhythm builds the first present-tense sentences, before the module turns to Hindi as a gendered language — comparing how verbs shift between male and female speakers. A conversational lab closes the module with pair speaking practice and essential inquiries like "आपका नाम क्या ै?"

Expanding Vocabulary & Review:

Everyday words for food, body parts, and action verbs feed into guided Devanagari writing practice, followed by low-stress vocabulary reinforcement through flashcards and games. Module 1's milestone challenge has students deliver a self-introduction using 10–15 simple sentences.

Navigating Time, Questions, & Real Life:

Past and future tenses let learners talk about yesterday and tomorrow, the five question words power a classroom "talk show" of peer interviews, and street-level roleplays — shopkeeper, customer, tourist, passerby — bring the language into daily life.

Active Listening, Advanced Tenses, & Graduation:

The present continuous and imperatives are studied alongside short Hindi movie clips for emotional cadence and rhythm, building toward a final capstone: a 2-minute Hindi speech on daily routines, followed by peer feedback and a graduation ceremony.
